La Perla aims for younger demographic with Divina

Divina is the name of the new women’s fragrance signed by the high-end lingerie brand La Perla. Aimed at a younger demographic than previous La Perla scents, it is being introduced by Perfume Holding SA.
The fruity-floral fragrance composed by perfumer Antoine Lie from Givaudan begins with the notes of Calabrian mandarins and strawberries enhanced by the fizzy touch of Champagne while the heart is a vibrant bouquet of roses, jasmine and orange blossoms. The base notes are warm with vanilla, ambergris and musk. The round bottle and its light pink packaging evoke a sense of fresh and happy sensuality also communicated by the advertising image created by the agency Kikaya.
Divina will be on shelves from May rolling out progressively into 55 markets worldwide beginning with five key areas: Italy, France, Germany, the Far East and Middle East.
“After this launch dedicated to younger women, we will re-launch the classic La Perla for 30 to 45 year old women in a completely restyled bottle and packaging. The chypré fragrance will remain untouched,” explained Perfume Holding vp creation Brigitte Wormser.
