Morris Profumi, a company belonging to the Perfume Holding Group, receives a certification of compliance with ISO UNI EN 22716:2008.
Morris Profumi SpA, a company founded in Parma in 1946 by Giovanni Borri and since 2010 part of the Perfume Holding Group, has been one of the most important players in the Italian perfumery and cosmetic industry for 60 years. It’s one of the few companies in the world that can offer a totally integrated sector production process starting from product concept to in-house production and final worldwide distribution of all its products.
Today Morris Profumi has seen its long excellence history certified by receiving in June 2013 the compliance certification according to “Guidelines on Good Practice Manufacturing” UNI EN ISO 22716:2008. This being the finishing line of a long and complex testing process by the experts of DNV Business Assurance, witnessing the company’s great commitment to improvement and quality.
UNI EN ISO 22716: 2008 is the harmonised regulation describing the specific requirements for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) for cosmetic industry. The application of such standards allows to comply with provisions of the new European Regulation 1223/2009 addressing the market’s demand to provide consumers with higher degree of safety transparency and objectiveness of information that come together with the product.
Morris Profumi is the first company in the field of perfume manufacturing to get ISO 22716 certification by DNV Business Assurance in Italy.
